Skills For Life.
We are traversing the Pearl of Africa, from urban centers to remote villages, to ensure no girl or woman is left behind. We don't just give fish; we skill the nation.
Menstrual Dignity & Inclusive Skilling
Focus: Menstrual Health Management (MHM) for Boys & Girls
"In schools across Uganda, we skill both girls and boys in making reusable sanitary pads. By involving boys, we fight menstruation stigma and turn them into allies who can support their sisters and mothers at home."

Vocational Crafts & Handiwork
Focus: Financial Independence for Village Girls & Teen Moms
"We equip young women with the artistry of handmade fluffy doormats, traditional baskets, and intricate beaded jewelry. These skills are portable, allowing mothers in remote areas to earn a living from home while caring for their children."

Modern Urban Farming
Focus: Food Security & Domestic Nutrition
"Land shouldn't be a barrier to food. We train vulnerable families in vertical gardening, 'sack gardening,' and pot-farming. This ensures daily nutrition for households in both urban slums like Kamwokya and remote villages with poor soil."

Domestic Chemistry & Essential Arts
Focus: Rapid Income Generation
"Training in liquid soap making, hair treatment products, and simple confectionery. These are everyday essentials that provide immediate daily cash flow for organized community women's groups."

A National Vision
From the urban heart of Kampala to the classrooms of Karamoja and the village groups in Western Uganda, Muhimbo Cares Foundation is on a mission to organize and empower. By skilling boys alongside girls, we are building a supportive society where every woman can menstruate with dignity and every youth can create their own paycheck.
